Our great-grandmother was an amazing woman. And here, one hundred years later, we have her diary.
Take a trip to the past through the eyes of a teen-age girl, and marvel at how the world has changed -
and the many ways it has not.

October 31, 1912 - Thursday

A Short Synopsis of
October

Started Sunday school again for this year. I have the same teacher as last year, Miss Downs. Oct. 13.

We got our preliminary reports in High School. Oct.

Muzzy took me to see "Oliver Twist," played by the All-star cast, at Parson's. Marie Daro was "Oliver." Dandy play.

I think Chrissy is moulting.

Did not go anywhere on Hallowe'en.

Saw Donald once, at Mrs. Mahoney's. He says he will be invisible for about two months now.
P.S. He kept his word.
