Our great-grandmother was an amazing woman. And here, one hundred years later, we have her diary.
Take a trip to the past through the eyes of a teen-age girl, and marvel at how the world has changed -
and the many ways it has not.

July 26, 1912 - Friday

26 Loafed all morning and finished "Pam". Fine story. Went down to the office and saw Muz. Bought some colored pencils like Dan's. Forgot to bring my India ink to the office so I can't draw any in my diary while I'm here. Just think! only one more day before I go away! I shall bring this Compendium of timely Slush along. Dressed up rather for dinner tonight but did not see many people. Saw Miss Egan. She is reading "Pam" now.
